He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dillard Ballew and Virtie Verdell Mashburn Ballew; and his sister Kathleen Rice. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ballew; his children, Doug Ballew (Sherry), Jimmy Early (Tina), Jean Laughter (Carl) and Donna Early; his grandchildren, Steven Early (Lamanda), Kevin Early (Cady), Jessica Roselli (Bruno), Dalton Laughter (Everlyn), Nathan Ballew, Kayla Trivette (Charles) and Ashton Early; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Noah, Harley, Alliyah, Claire, Gabriel and Rose; and his siblings, Martha Huffman (James), Mary Fortner, Louise Bradley and Dillard Ballew (Julie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
