She is survived by: her siblings, Gary McDonald (Judy), Janet McDonald (Bill) and Ila McDonald; her nieces, Cheryl Jones (Mike) and Cayla McDonald (Jake); her nephew Andrew McDonald; her great-nieces, Emory Jones and Jade Ember Davis; her great-nephew Ethan Jones; and her close friend Lisa Nicholson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharon's memory to the Avery's Creek United Methodist Church cemetery upkeep fund.
