It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Piercy of Arden, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Piercy and Kathryn Murphy Piercy. He is survived by: his siblings, Sarah Reavis (Ron) of York Town, VA, Sabra Deaton of Newland, Susan Piercy of Smithfield, NC, Sidney Piercy of Marion, Steve Piercy of Dallas, GA and Sammie Piercy (Tinky) of Bakersvulle; and his close friends, Allen Mathes, Terrell Greene, Dennis Harpell and Shelle Gifford Rettig. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins.

“Our deepest condolences!! Sandy was a great friend, and I will miss him. We spent some years in college together, and as teammates on our college baseball team. I also spent a couple of years working with him, after we graduated. Can not tell you how much I thought of him, and loved him. His passing brings so much sorrow to me.
