She was predeceased by: the father of her children Thomas Behringer. She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Maike and Pauline Maike; her husband Herbert Waldroup; her children, Holly Smith-Behringer-Jones (Brian) and Thomas Behringer (Amanda); her grandchildren, Sydney, Madison, Sutton, Brooklyn, Tommy Jr. and Taylor; her siblings, Tom Maike (late Alice), Pam Bender (Bill), Luann Cruzan (Duane), Theresa LaCourse (Barry), John Maike (late Rose Marie), Mike Maike (Cyndi), Gary Maike (Deanna), Mary Lubbers (Gordon), Christine Simmons (Dale), Joe Maike (Danielle), Lisa Burkhardt (Jeff) and Greg Maike (Tina McCann); her mother-in-law Carolyn Pagan (John); and her siblings-in-law, Matthew Waldroup (Portica) and Elizabeth Shuler (Chris).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Place Fellowship Church (2 Laura Jackson Rd, Fairview, NC 28730).
