With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rufus M. Fisher of Arden, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Fisher and Eva Fisher; and his granddaughter Kelli Moore. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Hawkins Fisher; his children, Jon Fisher (Karen), Ann Moore (Danny) and Jill DeMarco (Gordon); his grandchildren, Eric Fisher (Heidi), Kendall Moore, Nicholas DeMarco and Casey DeMarco; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Fisher, Beau Fisher, Ruby Fisher and Luke Fisher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood, SC.
