With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Jenkins of Arden, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2021 at the age of 108. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Jenkins and Mayme Wilson Jenkins; his close friend Helen Block Jenkins; his daughter Kathleen Clarke; and his sister Mabel E. Kitchen.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Sharon; his son Robert Wilson Jenkins (Sharon) of Brevard; his grandchildren, Heather Clarke Slocum (Brian) of Highpoint, NC, Robert T. Clarke of Charleston, SC and Robert James Morgan Jenkins (Elizabeth) of Orange City, FL; his great grandchildren, Jack Slocum, Emily, Riley, Zoey and Sayge Jenkins; his nieces, Jean Kitchen Duffy (Steve) and Joyce Kitchen Bimby of Iowa; his nephew William Dieterich of Bradenton, FL.; and his stepgrandchildren, W. Todd Oxley (Laura) of Phoenix, AZ, William P. Oxley, Jr. of Memphis, TN and Shawn Walker of Olive Branch, MS. He is also survived by nine step-great grandchildren.
