He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gordon Shultz and June Hannah Potter Shultz; his wife Norma June "Mickey" Shultz; and his son Steven Gordon Shultz. He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Shultz Owens (Howard Henry Owens, Jr.) and Sidney Shultz Carter (Vincent Vellano Carter); his grandchildren, Richard Ray (Hannah), Simon Carter (Hayley), Elisabeth Carter (Malachi) and Jameson Spilman; and his sister Karen Pettit. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
