Opal Reed Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Reed (Arden, North Carolina), who passed away on August 4, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Reed and Esther Huntley Reed. She is survived by: her son Bill Reed (Lynn); her granddaughter Andrea Matthews; her great grandchildren, Garrett and Graham Matthews; and her siblings, June Freck and Arnold Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Opal's name to First Baptist Spartanburg, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
