It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Freeman Turner (Arden, North Carolina), who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Ransom and Inez Hensley Freeman; her husband Thomas Phillip Turner; and her brother-in-law Charles Burnette. She is survived by: her sons, Tony Turner (Judy), Jeffrey Turner and Tracy Trent; her sister Betty Burnette; her grandchildren, Taryn, Faith, Brooke (Corey) and Michael; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Cody and Drake; her niece Sandra Melton (Terry); her great-nieces, Sheena (Will) and Megan (Zach); and also, Mason and Miles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakley Baptist Church, 70 Fairview Ave., Asheville, NC 28803.
