It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Lee Ammons (Arden, North Carolina), born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Brackens and Roy Brackens; and her daughter Deborah Trantham. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Crisp of Fletcher; and her sister Zelma Boles of Asheville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
