It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maebur Reece Jones (Arden, North Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Bob E. Jones of Asheville, Dan Jones of Asheville and Ken Jones of Asheville; and her brothers, Buck Reece and Rex Reece.
She is survived by: her parents, Arthur Reece of Pinelog and Doris Reece of Pinelog; her husband Dick Bauer of Richmond, VA; her daughter Cindy Corley; her children-in-law, Rob Corley of Arden, Sandie Jones of Arden and Robin Hitch of Whittier, NC; her grandchildren, Simon Jones of Asheville, Justin Wildcatt of Whittier, Amber Jones of Sylva, NC, Jerami Jones (Dawn Treneman-Jones) of Asheville, Pom Chandrakulsiri Hunt (Andrew Hunt) of Los Angeles, Logan Corley of Asheville, Steven Corley and Fiona Baker of Mountainview, CA; her great grandchildren, Cyrus Lanning, MaKennah Wilson, Dalton Wilson and Finli Hill; and her siblings, Alice Bourne of Clay County, Lenora Caldwell (Charlie) of Clay County, Max Reece (Mary) of Clay County and Opal Rose (Frank) of Clay County.
