It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Gray McCollum of Arden, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Oliver Gray; his wife Margaret Branon McCollum; his grandchildren, David and Sarah Dougherty; and his brothers, Clifford, Elwood and Eugene McCollum.
He is survived by: his children, Mark McCollum (Pam) and Susan Dougherty; his sisters, Dorothy Shore, Brenda Brown (Archie), Carol Parker and Kay Davis (Mitch); his granddaughter Kaitlyn McCollum DeBerardino (Joey); and his great grandchild Colt DeBerardino.
