She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harold Dempsey Buchanan; her parents, Robert Grady Buchanan and Flora S. Buchanan; her siblings, Neil Buchanan and Lilly Buchanan; and her children, Gregory Pete'Lowe (Roseanne), Rick Buchanan (Jessica), Sherri Lowe, Angie Boudreau and Robin Sing-Cunningham (Berris).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Greens Creek Cemetery (82 Sweetgum Dr, Sylva, NC 28779).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the ministry of Greens Creek Baptist Church of Sylva, NC or Four Seasons Hospice of Flat Rock, NC.
