We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Laura Elizabeth Lillig (Arden, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sheker and Emeline Ford Sheker; her husband Clifford Eugene Lillig; and her grandson Timothy Joe New. She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia New (Tom) of Asheville, Janis Laurent (Norm) of Chesterfield, MO and Juanita Calaway (Ronald) of Franklin, TN; and her grandchildren, Michael New (Kristin), Laura Taylor (Bryan), Blaire Kulp (Trevor), Katie LanFranca (Tony) and Claire Holleman (Joe). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In her 100 years, Laura lived through the Great Depression, World War ll and the Covid-19 Pandemic.
