It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kari Lenning Schoening (Arden, North Carolina), born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lenning and Margaret Lenning; her husband Kenneth Stengel Schoening; and her brothers, Mark and Jack Lenning.
She is survived by: her brother Alan Lenning (April) of Fancy Gap, VA; her children, Kari S. Diehl (Peter) of Bellingham, WA and Krista S. Fox (Ansley) of Fletcher, NC; and her grandchildren, Eric Diehl, Megan Fox, Hannah Fox, Anna Diehl and David Diehl.
