It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Howell Moss (Arden, North Carolina), who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Howell and Floy Robertson Howell; and her husband Harold Abbiati Moss. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Moss-Shackelton; her son-in-law Steve Shackelton; her stepgranddaughters, Britney and Brooke Shackelton; and her siblings, Rex Howell (Nola), Peggy Jackson (Jim) and Marilyn McIntyre (Roger). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
