She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Jacob Traxler and Vonciel Buckner Traxler; her husband Guy Edward Gilbert; her sister Yvonne Traxler Scott; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Gilbert, Kathleen Ensley Gilbert, Bill Gilbert, Harry Cummings and Dr. Stewart Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Mossburg; her grandchildren, Jurdan of Chesnee, SC, Lauren of Chesnee, SC, Logan of Chesnee, SC and Ansley of Chesnee, SC; her sister Jean Traxler Cummings of Savannah, GA; her niece Christy Cummings Sedlacek; her nephew Stewart Scott; and also Steven Cummings.
