She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Plemmons. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Ferguson Plemmons Williams; her husband Doug Penland; her sons, Raymond David Ballew and Roger Eugene Ballew; her stepdaughters, Sondra Valerie Struble and Angela Michelle Plemmons; and her brother Jim Plemmons. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
