He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Tipton and Delano Tipton; and his siblings, Cordie Snuffer, Patsy Roberts, Charles Tipton, William Tipton and Douglas Tipton.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Jamie Calloway (Terrell) and Scott Tipton (Kim); his grandsons, Jacob Calloway (Bekah) and Madison Tipton; and his brother Tommy Tipton (Judy). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that memorial donations be made in Mike's name to Four Seasons Compassion For Life Hospice, 581 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
