We bid farewell to James Holbrook (Arden, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 4, 2025 at the age of 83. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cole Holbrook and Mildred Hargrove Holbrook; and his brother Larry "Doby" Holbrook. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Redden Holbrook; his children, James Cole Holbrook, Karen Holbrook Rogers (Dave) and Tonya Dawn Reems (Brad); his grandchildren, Hunter Turner (Bryer), Cathleen Holbrook Rogers, Addie Rogers, Brandon "Scooter" Reems and Lucretia Spriggs (Josh); his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kooper and Kallen; his siblings, Bill Holbrook (Earlene), Tommy Holbrook and Cathey Holbrook Drye; and his half-brothers, Ronald Holbrook (Carol) and Robert Holbrook. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 9:50 AM at the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
