He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wade and Nellie Womack Elliott; and his siblings, Fran McMahan, Ruth Parham, Patsy Cox, Ken Elliott, Samuel Elliott, Jr. and Lloyd Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Mae Elliott; his son Mark Elliott (Kim); his grandchildren, Amanda Dryman (Dewayne) and Matthew Elliott (Lauryl); and his great grandchildren, Solomon Dryman, Chloe Dryman, Elora Elliott and Eloise Elliott.
