It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Joyce Gryder Sheehan (Arden, North Carolina), born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Randolph and Docia Fore Gryder; her husband Robert "Bob" Sheehan, Jr.; her children, Dois Sheehan and David Sheehan; her grandson Joseph Sheehan; her great grandchild Garrett Sheehan; her daughter-in-law Sally Sheehan; and her siblings, Becky Whitaker, Faye Presnell and Howard Gryder.
She is survived by: her children, Lois McMinn (Ernest), Linda King (Danny), Debra Robinson (Jerry), Daniel Sheehan and Kenneth Sheehan; and her brother Danny Gryder. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.
Flowers are appreciated, but for those who choose, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's own choice.
