We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2020, at the age of 88, Geraldine Moore Israel (Arden, North Carolina), born in Madison, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolman T. Moore and Faye Stamey Moore; her husband Gordon Israel; and her sibling Bunny Moore. She is survived by: her children, Joe Black (Susan), Larry Black (LeeAnn), Sonja Ashby (Paul), Betty Hood (Rocky) and Linda Buckner (Danny); her grandchildren, Angie White (Michael), Amanda Buckner (Wes), Casey and Cody Ashby; and her siblings, Hugh Moore (Kathy), Lula Messer (Ralph), Eugene "Doc" and Jack Moore.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reeves Chapel Methodist Church, 225 Sardis Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
