She was predeceased by: her father Gary Melvin, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Stanley Goldsmith (Peggy) of Charlotte and Donna Frady (Don) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Stanley Frady (Stephanie), Christina Frady, Scott Goldsmith (Rachel) and David Goldsmith; her great grandchildren, Hannah Frady, Chloe Flora, Caroline Goldsmith and William Frady; and her sister Lovina Merrill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
