He is survived by: his mother Lucille McCarson of Asheville; his sons, Nicholus Lands and Jesse Lands; his stepson Jacob McCarson; his brothers, Larry and Terry Lands; his uncle Bill; his aunts, Carolyn Baity and Linda Henderson; and his close friend Wanda Worley.
