He was predeceased by: his father Furman Alton Williams, Sr.; and his siblings, Ted, Melvin, David, Clarence Williams, Barbara McDonald and Eva Meece.

He is survived by: his wife Janette Emory Williams; his children, Sheila Franklin (Mike) and Rex Williams (Sarah); his siblings, Imogene Helms and Jim Williams; his grandchildren, Brandi Laughter (Brentley), Bonnie Garren (Derrick), Elizabeth Franklin (Andy Wurst) and Barret Williams; and his great grandchildren, Brent, Jack, Will Laughter, Hayden and Hazel Garren.
