He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cole and Eva Miller Cole; and his siblings, Ruth Calabrese, Betty Sorrells, Joe Cole and Gene Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Lunsford Cole; his siblings, Monica Smith, Gloria Kennedy (Chuck), Obera Currin, Herb Cole (Jean), Mack Cole and David Cole; his nieces and nephews, Deena R. Boles (Allen) and Christy Rigsby; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah Boles, Chelsea Franklin, Chase Boles and Colby Arnett; and also Caysley Franklin.
