With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Inez Livesay of Arden, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bascom Livesay and Sarah Gladys Ramsey Livesay; and her siblings, Ross Macklin "Hoot" Livesay, Chester Herbert "Dib" Livesay, Clarence Bascom "Bud" Livesay, Gladys Blanche Livesay Parkey and Ruby Evelyn Livesay Sweatt.

She is survived by: her son R. Steven Owens (Lucia); her grandchildren, R. Jason Owens (Leslie Cole), Allison C. Peacock (Ansel) and Savannah E. Owens (Patrick Smith); her great grandchild Henry David Owens; and her siblings, Johnny Livesay (Pam) and Judy Jones (Don).
