He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shelton and Virgie Tweed Shelton; his grandson Travis Doan; and his daughter Grace Ducanto. He is survived by: his wife Betty Young Shelton; his children, Teresa Joyce Shelton Miller, Frederick E. Shelton (Martha), Ronnie B. Shelton (Paula) and Danny Doan (Jane); his grandchildren, Wesley, Destonie, Latesha, Dennis Doan and Leah Lavitnas (Jason); his great grandchildren, Bryson Buckner, Wyatt Buckner, Luke Lavitnas and Gabriel Doan; and his sisters, Barbara Joyner and Alma Jarvis.
