He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Louise Nail Holden; his children, Donald Wesley Holden and Felicia Ann Holden; his siblings, Richard Holden, Carroll Holden, Donald Lee Holden, Lois Galloway, Dorothy Moore and Ruth Bryson; and his granddaughter Amanda Rachel Krofchick.
He is survived by: his daughter Regina Holden Krofchick (Dan); his grandchildren, Brandy Creasman, Jason Aytes, Alexander Holden, Eric Bassett and Lisa Holden; and his great grandchildren, Cody Creasman, Gabe Allen, Carson Creasman, Lauren Aytes, Anabelle Holden and Rebekah Allen.
