With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Robert Johnson (Arden, North Carolina), born in Burnsville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lee and Pansy Mae Elkins Johnson; his son Jimmy West; and his sisters, Pansy Hooper, Grace Edmonds and Frances Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Rice Johnson; his children, Rene Meadows (Randy), Vicki Johnson (Leonard), Ronnie West (Mary) and Jackie West (Debbie); and his siblings, Alma Sprouse, Bobbi Edwards and Ed Johnson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
