Betty Jo Payne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Payne of Arden, North Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Roberson and Alice Whitted Roberson; her husband Clarence Homer Payne, Jr.; and her siblings, Kathleen Constance, Mildred Dowdle, James and George Roberson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Cole of Chattanooga, TN and Vickie McMillan (Robbie) of Greenwood, SC; her sisters, Jeanette Reeves of Asheville and Gearleen Brown of Leicester; and her granddaughters, Allyson Cole and Whitney Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that you send a donation in Betty's memory to the Skyland Fire Department.
