It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann (Howell) Loftin of Arden, North Carolina, born in Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Lee Loftin; her parents, Artus Eldridge and Nezzie Howell (Hartsell); her son Joseph Kirby Loftin; and her siblings, Wallace, Leonard, Cecil Howell and Wadene Poplin.
She is survived by: her sons, Jon Loftin (Rebecca) and Jeff Loftin (Donna); her grandchildren, Victoria Loftin (Cody Blanton), Nicholas Loftin, Lanier Formanczyk (Jake), Suzannah Loftin and Madison Loftin; and her great grandchild Jack Formanczyk.
