He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hackaday and Eva Wright Hackaday; his son William Hackaday, Jr.; and his brother Tony Hackaday. He is survived by: his wife Hestell Wilson Hackaday; his children, Jamie Hackaday, Amber Hackaday and Becca Hanyok (Greg); his siblings, Leroy Hackaday, Gary Hackaday, Rhonda Fletcher and Cindy Hackaday (Don Borna); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Kyeran and Lucas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
