It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernard Weant (Archdale, North Carolina), born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Weant and Mabel Gilbreth Weant; and his sister Margaret Haney. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Wood Weant; his son Hal Vernard Weant; his sister Marie Peele (Harold); his niece Cindy Shaver (Benny); and his nephews, Joe Haney and Dale Asbill (Carol).
