He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Watson and Hessie Deal Cheek; his wife Gail Rich Cheek of High Point; his children, Robert Craig Cheek of Archdale, Dana Cheek Huffman (Alan) of Mebane and Timothy Allen Cheek of High Point; his siblings, Sybil Billings, Phyllis Cothren, Wanda Erlene Owens and Phillip Wayne Cheek (Daisy); his grandchildren, Alexandria Cheek Grant (Derrick), Savannah Cheek, Sarah Cheek, Will Huffman, Zack Huffman and Sierra Cheek; his great grandchildren, Makailyn Grant and Isaac Grant; and his siblings, Justine Cheek Lyon, R. W. Cheek Jr. and Verlin Brack Cheek.
