He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wiley Dunning, Sr. and Fleta Sue May Dunning; and his siblings, James W. Dunning, Jr., Robert Dunning, Harold Dunning, Becky D Burke-Callahan, Carolyn D. Ratliff and Mary Minor.

He is survived by: his wife Celia Y. Dunning; his children, Roy A. Dunning, Judy Burke (Gary) of Florida and Jo Ann Sapp (Lee) of Archdale; and his sister Juanita Connor of Cheraw, SC.. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Three Angels Broadcasting Network, P.O. Box 220, West Frankfort, IL 62896-0220.

“Mr. Dunning was a very important part of my Dad, Bob Clark’s, life. Dad looked up to Roy and often said he learned so much from “Pop”! Roy was always there for my Dad, whether working on a project, talking about life or listening to Christian music. Roy was not only my Dad’s best friend, he was family to all the Clarks and we loved him a lot ! He will be greatly missed ! He and Dad have some catching up to do! Prayers for you all!
