He is survived by: his wife Verla Phillips Smith; his children, Sherry Wright (Don), Lee Ann Eason (Mike) and Craig Smith; his stepdaughters, Helen, Linda and Joyce; his sisters, Daisy Deaton and Emily McCormick; his grandchildren, Carrie, Christin, Dana and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jaxxon, Dylan, Gavin, Alina, Trey and Logan.
