He was predeceased by: his parents, Okey Skidmore and Naomi Brabham Skidmore; his wife Maxine McHenry Skidmore; and his grandson Tim Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Marty Skidmore (Diann), Lori Cooper (Robbie) and Dottie Shaw; his brothers, Harold Skidmore and David Skidmore (Cathy); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Skidmore, Kelly Shields (Dustin), Brandon Shaw, Mikie Stewart (Kari), Bethanie Ellzey, Jordan Caddell (Samantha) and Stacy Lawrence (Don); his great grandchildren, Aryanah Skidmore, Siyarah Hill, Dakota Shields, Adalyn Stewart, Carson Stewart, Harper Millikan, Noah Ellzey and Mason Ellzey; and his close friend Jean Reiser.
