She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Lee Hanes, Jr. and Jewel Elliott Hanes. She is survived by: her husband Walt "Junior" Marshall; her daughter Rebecca Surles (Travis); her grandchildren, Emsley and Weston Surles; and her cousins, Delbert Elliott, Joe Mitchell, Tonya Walton and Bill Austin. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
