She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howard and Dora Key (Verta); and her brother John Howard Key, Jr. (Johnny). She is survived by: her husband Samuel Eugene Brimer of Archdale, NC; her siblings, Scarlet, Dale Rucker of Spring Lake, NC, Rita Key and Randy (Dena Key); her sister-in-law Shirley Key of Galax, VA; and her close friends, Jane Harrison of Blacksburg, VA, Sandra Combs of Cana, VA, Jeff Pope of Archdale, NC and Josh. She is also survived by six nieces and one nephew, six great nephews, five great nieces.
