He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Roland and Faye Walker English Sr. Nereus; his son Nereus Clarkson English IV (Clark); and his brother Thomas Roland English, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Anne English and John English (Kam); his daughter-in-law Allyson Moser English; his brother James English (Karen); his sister-in-law Kay Carroll English; and his grandchildren, Lauren Malpass Dawson, Caroline English, Andrew English, William English, Robert Malpass and Lily English.
