She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Hopkins and Laura Mae Andrews Hopkins; her husband William "Bill" Hinson; her daughter Amy Laura Hinson Kemp; and her sister Bessie Stafford.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Eads of Archdale and Eddie Hinson (Candice) of Archdale; her sister Glenda Williamson of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Joey Eads (Allison), Ashley Eads Fleming (A. J.), Jonathan Kemp (Michaela) and Natalie Hinson; her great grandchildren, Adam and Avery Fleming; and her son-in-law Johnny Kemp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
