It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Kestner of Archdale, North Carolina, born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Denton Kestner and Vicie Helen Sparks Kestner. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Kinder Kestner; his son Dennis Melvin Kestner, II (Andrea) of Thomasville; his siblings, Jimmy Kestner of Winston-Salem, Faron Kestner (Kathy) of Kernersville, Jackie Kestner of Virginia and Betty Allen of High Point; and his grandson Alexander Shawn Kestner (Jordan).
