It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marietta Summit of Archdale, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Cook and Genie Lanier Cook; and her children, Danny Summit and Sherry McCall. She is survived by: her husband Jack Summit; her daughter Jackie Carico; and her grandchildren, Shannon Carico, Shonda Carico, Selina Boardman, Brandon McCall, Jeremy McCall, Jamie Hill, Sheree Parker, Alex Summit and Tasheena Summit. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 13 great- great grandchildren.
