Margaret Walker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Walker (Archdale, North Carolina), born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie J. Roope and Hattie Virginia Via Roope; her former husband Thomas Lee Barnett; her husband Roy Joe Walker; her siblings, Pauline Brown, Robert, Basel and Donald Rupe; her nephew Freddy Goad; and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Roupe and Nancy Wallace.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Nicholls (Jeffery) of Archdale and Janice East (Robert); her grandchildren, Vickie Ingram, Melissa Smith, Travis East and Matthew East; her stepgrandchildren, Allison Coley and Lauren Howerton; her nieces and nephews, Sue Edwards, Patricia Golliher, Sharon Honaker, Wayne Rupe and Dennis Rupe; her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Barnett, Juanita Gates, Becky Hooks, Mary Tysinger, Naomi Hoffman, Becky Barnett, Sylvia Rupe and Betty Rupe; and her close friends, Sylvia, Sarah and Cellie. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren.
