It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Smith (Archdale, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Cicero and Hattie Smith Cromer; and her husband John E. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Doug Smith (Nancy) of Greensboro and Linda Michael (James) of Archdale; and her grandchildren, Dan Norman (Lisa) of Lexington, Chris Smith of Statesville and Chad Smith of High Point. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
