He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Joshua Stone and Jesse Lee Scearce Stone; and his sister Lyndon Wall. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Miller Stone; his children, Stephen Stone (Paula), Brian Stone (Holly) and Krista Pelata (Shawn); his sister Patsy Hege of Archdale; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Ashley, Christopher, Joseph, Emily, Elijah, Nova and Phoenix. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
