It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Marvin Stinson (Archdale, North Carolina), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Leon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Leon has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Stinson and Earma Franklin Stinson; and his sister Janie Parks. He is survived by: his brother Gary Stinson; and his children, David Stinson, Holly Surratt, Melody Johnson and Sonja Joyce. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
