It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leatrice Wells (Archdale, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dennis Levi and Pearl Maness Franklin; her husband Lester Wells; her siblings, Treva Davis, Erma Lee, Lena Kearns, Dora Burney and Sam Franklin; her children, Laura Swaim (Zach) of Mocksville and David Wells (Gail) of Archdale; her sister Peggy Franklin of Archdale; her grandchildren, Dana Layne (Chris) of Trinity, Sarah Parker (Brandon) of Thomasville, William Swaim of Clemson and Blake Swaim of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Thomas Layne, Andrew Layne, Madilyn Layne, Emily Parker and Matthew Parker. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
